Well I turned up for the event, but I should have stayed in bed!
Food poisoning on Friday does not set your body up for racing and I found myself very very exhausted, and mentally not up to the job.
Nick Peters in the RS100 tacked off early on the start line and hugged the right hand shore, I went out into the middle for clear air, which I got, but no bend!
Nick got a huge lift to the windward mark and I never caught him after that, especially after my reduced speed efforts downwind, shame.
I sailed the first race, and had to go home.
